Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov took part in the grand opening of the stand with the Flag of Independence, located near the Parliament building on the Constitution Square on the eve of the Independence Day of Ukraine.  

"The tirst steps of our Independence began with the introduction of the Ukrainian Flag into the plenary session hall of the Parliament. And today the Ukrainian flag flies not only over government buildings, but also flies over the front. Unfortunately, over the front. It has not yet returned to Ukrainian Donetsk and Luhansk. It is not yet over Sevastopol and Simferopol. But it is temporary," Dmytro Razumkov said.
At the same time, he noted that the blue and yellow flag accompanies all the victories of our state, which are enough today, but there will be much more to come.
"I wish you and myself to always be proud of our flag and our actions under this flag," added the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.
