The Sorochyn National Fair is one of the most colorful events that reflects Ukrainian cultural traditions. This was stated by Speaker of the Parliament Dmytro Razumkov during his visit to the National Sorochyn Fair as part of the working trip to Poltava Region.
"This is my first time at the Sorochyn Fair. Today such events are unique. Thanks to them, it was possible to preserve the cultural traditions and opportunities that exist in Ukraine. This is what we can share with the world," Dmytro Razumkov said.
Separately, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada stressed the importance of knowledge and preservation of the history of Ukraine. "We must remember our traditions and history well, because only a nation that knows and respects its past has a future," he added.
The Speaker of the Parliament wished the participants and organizers of the Fair success and new achievements. "There was no Sorochyn Fair in 2020, but I wish you to catch up with everything that was not realized last year," he said.
