The law is aimed at stimulating the development of production in Ukraine of electric cars, chargers, components for them.
The law temporarily, until January 1, 2026, exempts from value added tax transactions for the importation into the customs territory of Ukraine and the supply in the customs territory of Ukraine of new vehicles (including those manufactured in Ukraine) equipped with internal combustion engines with spark ignition, operating exclusively on compressed natural gas methane, liquefied natural gas methane or biogas.
The law temporarily, until January 1, 2031, exempts from value added tax transactions for the importation into the customs territory of Ukraine in the customs regime of import of goods
Dmytro Razumkov also signed the Law of Ukraine No. 3477 "On Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine to Stimulate the Development of the Electric Transport Sector in Ukraine".
The Laws submitted for signature to the President of Ukraine.
