Today is a professional holiday for those whose vocation is to do everything to ensure the national security of our state. Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine make daily efforts to protect citizens, identify and detect crimes that threaten the vital interests of Ukraine.

We had to rethink the value of "national security" and "territorial integrity and sovereignty". The events of 2014 made Ukraine understand what these words are really worth. The freedom we have today is the daily merit of those who continue to defend our independence at all times. And the Security Service makes a huge contribution to our state regaining its territories and eventually returning the people who now remain in the occupied territories.

I thank all the SSU officers for choosing to defend Ukraine as a matter of life and, despite the difficulties, continue to defend our state. I wish you daily victories and achievement of all set goals!
