If necessary, the Parliament may convene an extraordinary plenary session. This was stated by the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov, commenting on the situation around the amendments to the bills that complete the land reform.
"There is a mechanism for extraordinary plenary sessions. If necessary, the Parliament will apply it," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.
According to Dmytro Razumkov, the Verkhovna Rada is ready to quickly consider important bills for the state. "If we see the bill needed for adoption to change the situation in the fight against Coronavirus, or on some other important aspects for the state, the Parliament will apply the mechanism of an extraordinary sitting and we will be able to consider it soon enough," he said.
