The Parliament received the annual report of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights

The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Razumkov received the report on the state of observance and protection of human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine in 2020 from the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

According to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the annual report of the Ombudsman is submitted to the MPs and at the same time sent to the Committee, the subject of which is the issue of observance of human and civil rights and freedoms.

In addition, the Ombudsman provided the special report "The state of observance of human rights and freedoms in places of detention during the emergency situation related to the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2".
