The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China

Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine Fan Xianrong.

The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament stressed the importance of establishing inter-parliamentary dialogue and cooperation at the level of parliamentary friendship groups.

During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to discussing economic cooperation between the two countries. Dmytro Razumkov stressed that Ukraine has consistently supported the position of comprehensive deepening of relations with China.

"Not all countries in the world can boast of economic growth last year. The Chinese economy was the first to suffer from Coronavirus, but you have successfully passed this challenge," said the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.

He also thanked China for helping Ukraine fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
