The Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine told the details of the forthcoming meeting of the Heads of Parliamentary Factions and Groups with the Prime Minister of Ukraine

On Tuesday, after the sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, а meeting of the chairpersons of the Parliament, heads of the parliamentary factions and groups with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal will take place. It will be devoted to resolving the situation regarding tariffs for the population.

According to Dmytro Razumkov, at the meeting the Prime Minister should inform the chairpersons of the Verkhovna Rada and the heads of the parliamentary factions and groups about the next steps to resolve the situation with tariffs. The Speaker of the Parliament reminded that last Friday the Verkhovna Rada passed a law on compensation of consumers for the costs of electric heating. “The Parliament has taken a step forward. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is ready to work in this regard and do everything that will depend on us,” Dmytro Razumkov said.

However, according to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, the search for a way out of the ‘tariff crisis’ should be a joint task. “We can adopt any bill, but it is important that it is properly implemented,” he added.
