For the seventh year in a row, our state has been forced to defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty with weapons in its hands. Intelligence helps make important government decisions even in the most difficult times.
Today, the tasks facing the Foreign Intelligence Service are paramount. The understanding of security has changed, as have the tools of protection and defense. Detection of threats and timely response to the challenges posed by modern methods of struggle depend on the coordinated work of foreign intelligence. In addition, the work of Ukrainian servicepersons helps save the lives of those who protect the borders of our country in the east.
Your willingness to overcome difficulties and help strengthen national security deserves respect. I wish you never to lose optimism, always confidently achieve your goals and continue to work for the benefit of our state.
