“There are no bases for early parliamentary elections,” Dmytro Razumkov

There are no grounds for early termination of the powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation. This was stated by Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov.

“If we talk about the work of the Parliament, today it works. You see the number of laws we are considering and the number of MPs who are directly involved in the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, both in the session hall and outside it, and many other things. They argue that today the parliament is fully operational,” he stressed.

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada also expressed hope that there would be no further reasons for early parliamentary elections. However, according to Dmytro Razumkov, if the preconditions do arise, he will act within the law. “Every political force must always be ready for elections,” he said.
