Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov took part in the Kyiv Global Summit ‘WOMEN. PEACE. SECURITY 2020’, where he noted that in recent years, women in politics and the army have become much more.

“Politics is the main thing that moves our state. Today in the Parliament 20% are women, and this very often adds constructiveness to our work,” Dmytro Razumkov said.

“On the one hand, I am very proud of the fact that there are many women servicemen today, and on the other hand, I would not like you to risk the most valuable thing we have - your life,” said the Speaker of Parliament.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a second front has actually appeared in our country, and over the last year the importance of the medical profession, the majority of which are women, has grown again. “Almost around the clock, it is your hands that very often save human lives. And today we understand much more the importance of this profession,” he stressed.
