You have chosen the cause of life – the protection of our state! You have sworn to defend the peace and tranquility of Ukrainian families on a daily basis. I thank each of you for this choice.
For the seventh year in a row, Ukrainian society has had to feel what it means to defend territorial integrity and sovereignty. During all these years, you have proved that our state is able to protect its present and its future.
Every day you carry a service, despite the difficulties. You reach the goal without any hesitation, aware of all the possible risks that may fall in your way. Today we also remember those who, defending our state, gave the most valuable thing – their lives. Their feat will forever remain in the history of their native country.
On behalf of myself and the entire parliamentary corps, I wish you strength, health, optimism and achievement of goals. I am convinced that the Verkhovna Rada will continue to do everything in its power to restore peace to the state and provide every soldier with decent conditions for service!
