“We need peace, return of our territories and preservation of life of our people,” Dmytro Razumkov

Avery legislative developments on the return of peace must be consistent with the tasks and positions advocated by the Ukrainian side in the peace negotiations. This was stated by the Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov during the events on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“We need not just adopted laws, but peace, the return of territories and the preservation of the lives of our people,” he said.

The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Defense Minister Ihor Starobinskyy and Chairpersons of the deputy’s factions and committees. The participants of the event honored those who gave their lives defending Ukraine near the memorial complex "Hall of Memory". “Everyone in their place, everyone in their position and in their combat duty must do everything possible to make the next pages in the memory book blank. For my part, I will do my best for this,” stressed Dmytro Razumkov.

According to the Speaker of the Parliament, today's holiday is a day of those who not only defend the borders of our state and serve, but often, risking their lives, protect our peaceful life in Ukraine.
