On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov visited the 142nd training center of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region. The Speaker of the Parliament congratulated the military on today's holiday and wished them inspiration, success and victory.
“Today you are defending the territorial integrity of our state, you are the flagship that defends Ukraine's position at the front. And thanks to your daily work, we can do our job, doctors and teachers can do their job,” said Dmytro Razumkov.

According to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, today is not just a holiday, but an important event in the history of the state, as the importance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has increased many times in recent years. And this is the merit of every soldier.
Dmytro Razumkov observed a moment of silence for those who gave their lives defending the territorial integrity of our state.
The Speaker of the Parliament noted that everyone in their place must do everything possible to ensure peace in our country again. “I know that we must make our children's future happy and in Ukraine. I wish both you and myself that the number of people on combat duty is equal to the number that returns from it,” he added.
 
In addition, Dmytro Razumkov presented the military with distinctions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
