“In the budget, which returned to us – minus more than 4 billion hryvnias on education. This is a big question for me. It seems to me that today we should focus on three key areas: medicine, education and economics. And, of course, the armed forces, because there is a war in eastern Ukraine,” he said.
The Speaker noted that the Committee on Education, Science and Innovations had tasked the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to provide a concept for raising teachers' salaries next year.
“But nothing has changed. There is a rather tough debate in the parliament. I'm sure it will continue. Teachers' lobbyists in parliament are quite powerful. What will depend on me – I am also ready to join and help the profile committee,” stressed Dmytro Razumkov
