Dmytro Razumkov appealed to law enforcement agencies and instructed the Сommittees to investigate the attack on the journalist

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov appealed to law enforcement agencies due to an attack on a journalist during a live broadcast and instructed the Committee on Freedom of Speech and Committee on Law Enforcement to investigate the attack and find a solution. The Speaker of Parliament stated this during the Conciliation Council of parliamentary factions and groups.

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada stressed the inadmissibility of attacks on journalists and noted that freedom of speech is a great achievement of Ukraine - what makes it a European state.

“During the anniversary of the Holodomor, we saw that someone allowed himself to raise his hand against a woman, a journalist. And I don't care what channel it is. No one is allowed to do that. Otherwise, we are actually destroying the achievements that have been made for many years,” – said Dmytro Razumkov.
