According to the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received the draft State Budget for 2021, finalized by the Cabinet of Ministers. She also informed that the President of Ukraine introduced the bill №4434, which proposes to renew the responsibility for false declaration and failure to submit a declaration. At the same time, the Government registered Bill No. 4437 on the procedure for appointing and dismissing the Chairperson of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau in connection with the recent decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
Also, according to Olena Kondratiuk, the Parliament received a package of urgent bills of the President of Ukraine No. 4429, No. 4430, No. 4431, which provides a set of measures to support citizens from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. “These bills were submitted to the relevant Committees for consideration. I would like to note that the deputies also registered a number of bills that contain measures to support small and medium-sized businesses, which have not yet been considered in the session hall,” she emphasized.
Acting Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk announced that a meeting with representatives of the Parliament, the Office of the President and the Government would be held in the Verkhovna Rada on Saturday. During the meeting, the agenda, issues related to the budget process, return of responsibility for false declarations, overcoming the constitutional crisis, support for small and medium-sized businesses will be discussed and determined.
