“For all skeptics who believe that the
Ukrainian people are immature, not ready to make decisions, the President of
Ukraine today in his address to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reminded that the
Ukrainian people made two revolutions: in 2004 and 2014,” stressed First Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.

Ruslan Stefanchuk offered to recall the events of the Revolution of Dignity, when the citizens of Ukraine demonstrated their unity, dignity and Europeanness. “Residents of megacities and small villages, from the West and the East, women and men - all defended the desire for freedom, defended their dignity and participated in the creation of their state,” noted the First Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament.
According to him, the draft law No. 3612 “On Democracy through an All-Ukrainian Referendum” has been prepared to finally give Ukrainians an effective mechanism of democracy procedures. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine may adopt it in November”
