“The work of educators should always be appreciated and respected in society,” Dmytro Razumkov

Speaker of the Parliament Dmytro Razumkov presented the Awards of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to pedagogical workers of secondary, vocational, preschool and out-of-school educational institutions and thanked the educators for their daily hard work in the conditions of quarantine restrictions and pandemics. “I would like to thank everyone not only as the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the MP, but, above all, as a father,” he said.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiy Babak was present at the awards ceremony. He thanked the educators for their dedication to work and assured them of the readiness of the profile Committee to support educators in the future.

The Speaker of the Parliament also stressed that the Verkhovna Rada will make every effort to ensure that teachers receive not only recognition and respect from society, but also higher salaries.

“You instill in the new generation the values that shape their personality. Children are our future, and it depends on your work,” Dmytro Razumkov stressed.
