While in the Kharkiv oblast, D. Razumkov visited the PJSC “Khartron” (Hartron), the Kharkiv Machine-building Plant “FED”, the State Enterprise “Kharkiv Special Machine Plant” and the State Enterprise “Chuhuiv Aircraft Repair Plant”.
At Khartron, the Speaker got acquainted with the features of making modules and separate blocks of guided-missile systems and their modernization.
During his visit to the Kharkiv Machine-building Plant “FED”, Dmytro Razumkov inspected the workshops for import substitution, electronics, and space programmes. The Chairman noted a significant progress in the company's work since 2014.
“We can see here a good example of import substitution of products that have been bought from abroad before. I hope that in the future we will arrange a closed cycle manufacturing in this industry," he underlined.
The politician also stressed that state-owned enterprises are closely linked with the private sector economy.
"I am not a huge fan of mass privatization, because strategic state-owned enterprises and facilities must remain. Not only defence-purposed, but also those that are of strategic influence over the development of the country - aerospace industry, aircraft construction, high-tech sciences. In Kharkiv, we can clearly see living examples of effective cooperation between public and private institutions in these areas, and I hope there will be more of them in Ukraine," the Speaker of Parliament observed.
During his visit to the State Enterprise “Kharkiv Special Machine Plant”, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada learned how main shops of the enterprise function.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Razumkov, then visited
the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and
its Scientific Library. The Speaker also took part in a roundtable on “production and science integration as the basis for sustainable economic
development".
On behalf of the entire VRU parliamentary corps, the Chairman expressed his gratitude to the University for the help and expert support in formulating bills.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine familiarized with the training of personnel for the National Guard and repairing of military aircrafts in Kharkiv.
He then paid visits to the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Enterprise “Chuhuiv Aircraft Repair Plant”.
At the National Academy, the Speaker learned how departments of military communication and informatization, tactics, technical and logistic support, armored vehicles and rocket and artillery armament, military social and psychological support work.
At the Chuhuiv Aircraft Repair Plant, the politician inspected production facilities of the company that provides overhaul, modernization and maintenance of aircrafts, as well as medium-sized repairs and conversion of unmanned aerial vehicles into air targets.
