“Any crisis brings opportunities for developing and reaching a new level,” -- Dmytro Razumkov
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov took part in a sitting of the ad hoc working group on Ukraine’s economic development.
As a result of the spread of coronavirus disease and quarantine restrictions, the country is currently facing an uncharacteristic crisis. “We entered the quarantine not in the best shape and the recovery will be taxing as well. The economic crisis that is “flourishing” throughout today’s Europe, the United States and around the world seems to be truly unique, as there have long since not been such large-scale devastating consequences to the economy,” the speaker stated.
Dmytro Razumkov also stressed that meetings of working groups had been held almost around the clock. The politician expressed confidence that the joint efforts would give the result that today’s state is badly in need of and on the basis of this group and the economic development committee there would be feasible to develop an effective upturn strategy.
The speaker also noted that the crisis was not a single-dimensional phenomenon. “Any crisis also brings opportunities for developing and reaching a further level. I do hope this is the very option that is before Ukraine, and it will, among other things, depend on this group’s performance, as well as on concerted actions of the Verkhovna Rada and the committee first and last,” Dmytro Razumkov emphasized.
