“Estonia's experience in e-governance and cybersecurity is of great value to Ukraine,” -- Dmytro Razumkov
During his official visit to the Republic of Estonia, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid. Dmytro Razumkov expressed gratitude for supporting Ukraine in the fight for its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
“Estonia is indeed a close friend and reliable partner of Ukraine. Of great value to us are both supporting Ukraine at international platforms and assisting in the rehabilitation of our military men and women,” the head of parliament stressed.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that among Ukraine’s priorities there is the country’s course to the EU and NATO. “Relevant positions of Ukraine’s parliament and president implicitly tally with each other. We must continue to work upon the implementation of those European rules of law that will allow us to take fundamental steps on Ukraine’s pathway to Europe,” Dmytro Razumkov stressed.
Among reforms of great moment, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada named to be the fight against corruption and liberalization of Ukraine’s economy.
Dmytro Razumkov also observed Estonia's extensive hands-on experience in the IT economy and cybersecurity.
“Among topical points of the incumbent president’s hustings, there was the "state in a smartphone” concept. Therefore, Estonia's positive experience in e-governance, digitization, and IT-economy development is very valuable to us,” the Ukrainian top official highlighted.
