Razumkov thanked the European Parliament for supporting
Ukraine on the path
of reforms and protecting its
territorial integrity and sovereignty. He also hoped
for further development of cooperation with the European Parliament.
The parties paid special attention to the discussion on the Nord Stream 2 project and the threats it poses to the regional energy security.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stressed that maintaining the transit role of Ukraine is in interests of both the parties. At the same time, he then underlined that Ukraine has already taken a number of important steps to bring its energy legislation into line with EU law.
