“We are fighting for our territorial integrity and we will traverse the path through garnering extensive support internationally,” – Dmytro Razumkov

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine.

During the meeting, the speaker drew attention to the necessary steps to be taken by the international community with the aim to help resolve the armed conflict and promote de-occupation of eastern Ukraine and the Crimea.

“We are convinced that today the overwhelming majority of countries seek peace just as Ukraine does.  You are well aware about the difficult conditions we have faced.  It is not only about the economic component, but also about the challenges facing both our country and the entire world - struggling for territorial integrity and independence. Unfortunately, we are in the forefront of this process at present.  But I am sure that with your support we will be able to go the distance,” Dmytro Razumkov asserted.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada underlined that the changes taking place in Ukraine are the result of the teamwork of the entire power hierarchy.

Dmytro Razumkov assured the attendees of Ukraine's readiness to deepen cooperation with international partners, both at bilateral and multilateral levels of diplomacy.

"We will be grateful for advisory, information, economic and international support of various diplomatic institutions operating in our country," the speaker of parliament stressed.
