The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy called on to find the crime’s masterminds and to prosecute and punish perpetrators under the case of Kateryna Handziuk
He made this statement while opening a meeting of the Conciliation Board on November 5 with a very bad news of Kateryna Handziuk’s death. He reminded that on August 31 of this year she had been poured over with concentrated sulfuric acid in Kherson.
"Impunity generates more evil! The death of Kateryna must not remain unpunished. I call on law enforcement agencies to find all the perpetrators and masterminds of this crime as soon as possible. I am convinced that the parliament should vigorously join in the investigation of this headline-grabbing case".
The Chairman commissioned the line parliamentary committees to hear law-enforcers’ investigation reports on the case.
The Chairman expressed his sincere condolences to Kateryna Handziuk’s family and relatives.
