At the very off of the Conciliation Board sitting on Monday, the Speaker clued up socially-themed bills would be seen on Tuesday – children’s health improvement and recreation, support to kids of journalists, who died or injured while on duty, legal status of foreigners and stateless persons, reform of state and communal printed media.
Wednesday
Wednesday shall be offered for ratification matters by tradition.
Thursday
The key paper of the week shall be reviewed on Thursday – a draft bill on language. Having four language bills in stock, the parliament ought to choose one to be a basis for further readings.
Renaming of two oblasts – Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk – shall too be dealt with on Thursday for further amending the Constitution.
Veterans Day
Andriy Parubiy called on the Veterans Day to "pay particular attention and gratitude to the defenders who, under Russian bombardments, outpost Ukraine in the Donbas, and the war-bitten veterans who build their native land in peaceful life".
"The ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war has made us rethink this holiday, because there have appeared much more warfare veterans and their age changed. I meet veterans and I can see that very often these are very young boys," said the Chairman of the Parliament. "Meeting or by phone, just thank the veterans for they stopped the Russian invasion and preserved Ukraine’s statehood," added the politician.
