The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament thanked the members of the Venice Commission, its President Gianni Buquicchio for helping to develop and adopt the Law of Ukraine "On Supreme Anticorruption Court"
Opening a plenary meeting on Friday, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.Parubiy reminded that yesterday there was adopted “a landmark decision which shall undoubtedly influence Ukraine’s future”.
The Chair thanked the members of the Venice Commission and its President Gianni Buquicchio in particular for their wide helping to develop and adopt the Law of Ukraine "On Supreme Anticorruption Court".
"I am in constant contact with the Venice Commission. To improve important bills, especially those heavily debatable, I traditionally involve its experts. Their high-quality expert evaluation is very important for our legislative process", emphasized A.Parubiy.
"We have passed an extremely important law on a supreme anticorruption court in accordance with the recommendations of our colleagues from the Venice Commission, and the President of Ukraine lavished praises on our yesterday’s work,” stated the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada A.Parubiy.
