Chairman to visit Israel officially

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.Parubiy shall pay an official visit to the State of Israel from May 29 till May 31

The visit programme encompases a series of meetings with the Knesset’s Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, his deputy T.Ploskov, the President of the State of Israel Reuven Rivlin, high-ranking local parliamentarians and Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.

The Ukrainian delegation shall call on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, lay flowers at the Yad Vashem, Israel’s official memorial complex to the victims of the Holocaust, in the Hall of Remembrance on the western slope of Mount Herzl, and make an inscription in the book of guests of honour.
