Chair greets allies on NATO day

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy congratulated the Allies of Ukraine on the establishment of NATO.

Opening the plenary session on Wednesday, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.Parubiy reminded that on April 4, 1949, there had been an agreement signed in Washington on the creation of the North Atlantic Alliance.

"On behalf of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Parliament, I sincerely congratulate our allies. Our direction is Ukraine's accession to NATO. Step by step, we, through reforms and rebuff to the Russian aggression, become better and stronger, going to the goal above. Ukraine sure joins NATO!” emphasized the high-ranking politician.
