The Day of Local Self-Government in Ukraine
Today, December the 7th, is the Day of Local Self-Government in Ukraine.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed his congratulations to all compatriots on the occasion.
He made the point that the recent achievements in reforming the self-government system along with the great strides towards decentralization of powers have again shown a genuine ability of territorial communities to change the country for the better.
The stronger communities are, the stronger state is implied.
The Chairman wished the people robust health, new ups
and best of luck.
