The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed his sincere gratitude to all the PABSEC delegations that supported the Assembly Declaration for their unswerving loyalty to the free world’s values, for their unshakable principles and bolstering Ukraine in its struggling against the Russian aggression.
As the Monday Conciliation Board meeting began, the Chairman Andriy Parubiy reminded that the last week had been the week when the Ukrainian Parliament was honoured to host the 50th jubilee General Assembly of the PABSEC Parliamentary Assembly.
Following the Kyiv session, there has been adopted an extremely important document – the Declaration on the occasion of the PABSEC’s 25th Anniversary. The assembly delegates approved all the amendments rendered by Ukraine to that paper. “The resulting document of the PABSEC GA has attested deep concern of the armed conflicts still enduring in the Black Sea region, which, by so doing, has been sapping peace, security and regional cooperation,” said A.Parubiy.
“The Assembly calls on fostering restoration of territorial integrity for the PABSEC members which have been recognized as annexed illegally by international organizations such as the United Nations, the OSCE, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the European Parliament, etc.”
“I have expressed my sincere gratitude to all the PABSEC delegations that supported the Declaration for their steadfast commitment to the free world’s values, for their unshakable principles and bolstering Ukraine in its struggling against the Russian aggression,” stressed the Chairman A.Parubiy.
The politician also informed the parliamentarians that he had sent the reins of power to his colleague from Albania.
