The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Chairman Andriy Parubiy took part in a solemn ceremony dedicated to the blessed memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and the festivities on the occasion of the Day of the Assault Landing Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Chairman put an icon-lamp by the memorial cross standing at the place where the Heavenly Hundred Heroes died, in order to honour their memory.
The function was attended by the presidential couple and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.Parubiy participated also in another ceremonial occasion on account of the first Day of the Assault Landing Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
