The Ukrainian Parliament Chairman A.Parubiy thanked the US Senate for its sustained support of Ukraine
Opening the Friday’s morning sitting of the Parliament, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy informed the audience that the United State Senate had approved and sent for president’s signature a draft bill on “The U.S. military budget for 2018”, which envisages USD 350 million in security assistance to Ukraine.
On behalf of the Ukrainian members of parliament the Chair expressed his sincere gratitude to American colleagues for their continuous support to Ukraine.
“The bill ordains rendering Ukraine defensive lethal weapons and expands it vastly the security and defence profile of aid to Ukraine,” said the Chairman. “I am sure the President Trump shall sign the budget paper.”
