The Six Ordinary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly is taking place at the Ukrainian Parliament at the moment.

The participants have approved the agenda and the minutes of the 5th extraordinary session which took place in Brussels on March 22, 2016.

Then, there have been delivered a range of the following reports by the committees of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly:

·        Tanya Fayon (Slovenia), a co-reporter of the Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy: a draft report on the support of media freedom and integrity in the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries,

·        Heidi Hautala (Finland), a co-reporter of the Committee on Economic Integration, Legal Approximation and Convergence with EU Policies: a draft report on neutralization of the impact of economic slump upon the youth unemployment rate in the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries,

·        Vardan Bostanjyan (Armenia), a co-reporter of the Committee on Energy Security: a draft report on strengthening energy cooperation with the Eastern Partnership pursuant to implementation of the 2015 UN Paris Climate Change Agreement,

·        Nataliia Veselova (Ukraine), a co-reporter of the Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society: a draft report on the way women stand in the labour markets of the Eastern Partnership countries.

The participants approved all the above drafts. A range of urgent issues was considered at the meeting, too.

The delegates took a vote upon draft resolutions on lethal autonomous weapons systems (LAWS) and on deterioration of the human rights situation in Transdniestria, the Republic of Abkhazia, South Ossetia, the Crimea and certain regions of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
