Within the 6th Euronest Parliamentary Assembly session, there is a meeting of the Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy taking place at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The participants shall elect the First Vice Co-Chair of the Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy and approve the minutes of the joint sitting of the Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy and Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society held in Brussels on March the 23th, 2017.
They will also exchange their views on the Eastern Partnership prospects in the run-up to the Summit scheduled for November 24, 2017 in Brussels.
The meeting as well comprises several presentations, exchange of ideas on amendments to and approval of the draft committee report “Support to media freedom and integrity in the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries”.
