At the start of the Conciliation Board meeting the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy reminded that the Parliament had strapped to consideration of the reforms last week.

The first working day was quite productive as the education reform was viewed.

The Chair drew attention that review of the judicial reform had finally made some steps forward. “We are having 4383 amendments for a range of the codes. But we have managed to make just seven hundred. I so call on all the factions and committees to work more productively this week, as the agenda is really huge,”   he underscored, having laid a particular stress upon the next important reforms – pension and medical ones.

It was stated, the Parliament had been tabled with a draft state budget, which was supposed to allocate a lot for the security sector. The draft will be made public very soon through the Parliament’s website.

It was also noticed that the Friday, by agreement with the Cabinet, was set to have presentation of the State budget along with its treating at the Committee of Budget.
