During his official visit to Poland with the aim to participate in the XXVII Economic Forum in Krynica Zdroj, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy had a meeting with the Polish Sejm Marshal Marek Kuchcincki.

At the beginning of the meeting Andriy Parubiy gave his Polish colleague a brief overview of the reforming plans of the Ukrainian Parliament. “We do have lots of plans to work off. However, I believe the Parliament will be able to pass everything we scheduled to accomplish,” stated Andriy Parubiy.

The Chairman invited the Sejm Marshal M. Kuchcincki to inspect the Ukraine-Poland border together in order to slate building of four additional border passageways and overhaul of those in use.

He also called on the Polish Marshal to sign a joint statement regarding threats the NordStream-2 presents in fact. The draft letter of the statement was handed over to his Polish colleague.

The Polish Sejm Marshal Marek Kuchcincki invited the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy to pay a visit to Poland in October 2018 to participate in festivities on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the Sejm of Three Nations Rzeczpospolita.
