Chairperson calls on to support lifting immunity

A.Parubiy called on to support all immunity lifting claims made by the Prosecutor General

A.Parubiy, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called on MPs to support all immunity lifting claims made by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko.

He promised to do the same once a claim is made against him personally: “I am voicing now a public commitment to call on MPs to support such a claim once it is made against me myself. I count it inadmissible that the House do not vote in favour of lifting immunity. The entire atmosphere itself here seems to be impermissible with the blatant hints of whitewash and cover-up,” added the Chairperson.

He then called on again to vote responsibly and support all the Prosecutor General’s claims.
