A.Parubiy, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposes not to close the session
“We have a lot of issues to be considered this week. We need to do a great deal of work, very effective work,” said the Chairperson at the session of the Conciliation Board on July 10th.
The Chairperson outlined the main clusters of problems to be settled this week. One of the most pressing points is the MP’s immunity. A.Parubiy predicted that “all the Prosecutor General’s motions filed will be considered by the House”.
The second cluster
is the judicial reform and a set of the related laws. This week’s agenda might
include some additional issues on the pension and education reforms as well as
the medical one. The autumn calendar plan is to be set this week, too.
“I’d propose not to close this session so as to give the MPs appropriate room to gather for the needful considerations,” denoted A.Parubiy. “The objectives list is quite roomy and fundamental. We have little time to do much. So I’d see it inadmissible to drag the time out by thousands of amendments,” stressed the Parliament’s head. “I have got high hopes for a fast and effective work of the Parliament this week,” resumed A.Parubiy and called on the Conciliation Board sitters to talk more over the agenda against the political things.
