From The Russian Truth by Yaroslav the Wise, through the much acclaimed Hetman Pylyp Orlyk’s Constitution till the present-day Constitution of Ukraine, the Nation has tempered its European nature in battles of time.
The Basic Law is the real footing the State and the People of Ukraine are building their Life and Future upon.
On this spectacular day one cannot but congratulate true Constitution’s defenders – the Ukrainian warriors who are safeguarding Ukraine’s independence, state sovereignty, and inviolability of the borders against the Russian predator.
We do express our gratitude to the Ukrainian soldiers that we can commemorate the 21th anniversary of the Constitution in Ukraine of freedom and independence, pro-European Ukraine.
With the collective efforts and synergy of all Ukrainians peace and territorial integrity of Ukraine could only be reinstated. With due respect to the Law, we shall strengthen the Motherland, gut out the victory and build a powerful country.

Today's festivities of attendance
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine accepted the Basic Law of an independent state, which is still regarded as one of the most progressive. It has been formulated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in his speech on the Constitution Day of Ukraine. The President and his wife Maryna Poroshenko honored memory of the creator of the first Ukrainian Constitution, Hetman Pylyp Orlyk. There Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko and members of the Government were also in attendance at the ceremony.
