On June 14 the United States Senate made 97 votes out of 100 for a new portion of sanctions against Russia. While the considering, the house was attended by Andrii Parubii, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
‘I extend my thanks to all the senators who have supported this very important for Ukraine in particular as well as for the whole free world law… The new restrictions span over the financial and the power sectors, allocating U$250 million on counteraction to the Russian disruptive impact as well,’ was his comment.
Andrii Parubii, the Parliament’s Chairperson, had also a meeting with the law’s author Senator Robert Jones Portman, having greeted him with the near striking ballot.
