The Ukrainian Parliament Chairperson’s visit to the United States is on the run.
On June 13 the Chairperson had some working meetings at the United States National Security Council, the Unites States Department of State and the US Department of Defense, where a bilateral security treaty between the United States and Ukraine was proposed to discuss. The treaty does not conflict with Ukraine’s would-be membership in NATO - inversely, it does promote and speed it up.
A.Parubii once again called on the U.S. allies to provide Ukraine with the lethal weapons to facilitate defense of Ukraine.
In the meetings, Andrii Parubii made a stress upon the critical importance of further extending the sanctions against Russia until Ukraine reunites all-out. ‘The Russian aggression does constitute a global threat. The “Putinperial” policy has been menacing to the free world on the whole. As far as Russia pursues its aggressive policies one ought to uphold and even boost the sanctions,’ underlined Andrii Parubii.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine launched an appeal to the American congressmen to prop that initiative directed towards intensification of the sanctions against Russia for the sake of peace.
