The Parliament’s chairperson deems Russia will beyond any doubt be soon presented with a fait accompli - a visa regime with Ukraine. He gave this commentary in his interview to Rada TV channel. ‘As I voiced it before when I was Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, it has been my principled stand that the aggressor country ought to be opposed with a visa regime,’ stated he flatly.

A.Parubii said he had filed the relative bill two years ago together with colleagues from ‘Samooborona Maidanu’ (Maidan’s self-defence) inter-fractional alliance. ‘I see it immensely important and utterly well-timed. At the same time, I am sure it should be tabled once we only get a resounding support of members of the Parliament,’ denoted the chairperson.

According to A.Parubii, the consultations are under way, with seemingly favourable prospects. The Parliament's head emphasized, the moment this issue wins enough votes of the House it would without any delay be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for consideration.
