A.Parubii meets Vatican’s envoy

Andrii Parubii, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Secretary of State of His Holiness the Pope.

His Eminence first addressed words of consolation to Ukrainian people in connection with the death of His Eminent Beatitude Liubomyr Huzar, Cardinal, Major Archbishop Emeritus of Kyiv-Galicia (Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church).

A.Parubii expressed to the Holy See his gratitude for the support of Ukraine and for the humanitarian mission, in particular for seeing through the people suffered damage from the Russian aggression.

The parties had then talks over the state and religious matters and the interfaith dialogue in Ukraine.
