After Tbilisi’s NATO PA session, the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada’s Chairperson Andrii Parubii took the initiative to make Ukraine’s membership in NATO legally binding among its foreign policy’s priorities.

The appropriate bill No.6470 has been tabled to the Verkhovna Rada to amend the laws of Ukraine on domestic and foreign policies and on Ukraine’s national security.

‘I would remind this year we mark a 20-year anniversary of the Distinctive Partnership Charter with NATO. Adopting of the law would signify a lot for our allies! I have referred to the fractions with the call to accept the law with immediate effect,’ notified the Parliament’s Chairperson. He thanked all MPs who put their hand to making that draft bill.

‘NATO – is the world’s security guarantor! NATO is the only power which is able to stop the aggressive Putin’s Russia. Ukraine will surely be a member of NATO!,’ resumed Andrii Parubii.
