Parliament’s chairperson, started the meeting with appreciation of Italy’s consistent
endevours in supporting Ukraine.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed Pietro Grasso that the Putin’s Russia had been neglecting the Minsk accords shadowing that by heavy shelling of the Ukrainian troops’ positions and the civilians. Andrii Parubii hence called on the Italian leader to further loading down the aggressor with the sanctions.
Pietro Grasso was notified that our chairman had signed the Memorandum of understanding with Laura Boldrini, President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies.
The run of the Ukrainian reforms were also highlighted with accent on the anti-graft component, since ‘without the corruption being outdone there is no way to talk about the Ukraine’s European integration’.
