The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine took part in the 6th National Prayer Breakfast. Those events are a longstanding tradition in more than 100 democratic countries meant to be a place for spiritual unity and public consent.
At the beginning of his statement A.Parubii paid tribute to His Beatitude Lubomyr (Guzar) and then congratulated those present with the International Day for Protection of Children.
‘I call on all citizens of Ukraine and our friends to unite in the face of current challenges. I call on all present to always get to the root. To see the chief aim – strong, united, wealthy nation and mighty, unified and prosperous European Power! To see Ukraine! With faith in God be Homeland’s servant! Thank God and glory to Ukraine!
