The visa free deal for Ukraine was our concerted win, stressed Iryna Herashchenko - the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Ukraine’s visa liberalization ten-year roadmap shall win big next week at the European Parliament by signing the final papers. ‘Our next steps are all aimed at boosting Europe in Ukraine,’ she added.
I.Herashchenko also underlined that this instrument will open the Schengen area and some more for Ukrainians in a month. The only requirement in entering the area is that one must bear a biometric foreign passport. The free travel regime is also seen to restrain Ukrainians from job placement, education, and (medical) treatment in the EU.
