On Friday, December 23, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, told the Rada TV Channel that snap parliamentary election scenario is another destabilization step of the Kremlin.

Andriy Parubiy informed about results of the negotiations with Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament Elmar Brok, who said that current Ukrainian Parliament has to work until the end of its tenure and no snap parliamentary election should take place. "This is an issue of national security," he said.

According to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, current Parliament has showed high level of work and decision-making.

Andriy Parubiy considers that both the Parliament and the Government have to elaborate certain "reform logic" in order to continue implementation of the launched reforms.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada recalled that during the budget night, the parliamentarians also adopted the Law on the High Council of Public Justice, which was another important step towards further judicial reform.

Andriy Parubiy noted that the Europeans deeply understand the risks of possible snap parliamentary election for Ukraine.
