During the Monday meeting of the Conciliatory Council of the heads of the parliamentary factions and the chairs of the Verkhovna Rada committees, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, pointed out major sets of bills to be considered this plenary week.

In particular, on Tuesday, the Ukrainian Parliament plans to consider the matters of national security and issues touching adoption of the State Budget for 2017. "The bills facilitating service of our military men will have to be passed for the 25th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Parubiy said. He also said he would initiate commencement of work in plenary mode next week.

On Wednesday, the Verkhovna Rada plans to consider bills on local self-government and on Thursday - the issue of transport.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada requested the parliamentarians to be tolerant to each other and to avoid discrediting of the Ukrainian legislature.
